timeless desire

I blow kisses into your ears
Through the echoes of time,
Slowly delivered, so gently,
That the whispers of the night
Do not hear my thundering heart racing as you sleep.
I brush your manly cheek with a laboured desire,
My gentle heart weeping, hidden not heard,
Yet fulfilled enough to
Continue again and again and again.
The rippled curtains of time, flow gently apart
So still, I am able to see you now,
Your arms loving another as you sleep.
I am certain that you sense my timeless love for a second, maybe two.
As the morning bird songs call,
I sit astride you and welcome you to your day
Leaning forward to kiss your expectant lips.
The ripples of time kiss me back with a timeless desire.
